Suck it up Princess

Except that you, Megan, are anything but a princess…

In order to survive in a world that is male dominated you need to be as emotionally detached as a tree. Unfortunately my DNA is different. I don’t deal well with confrontation and I am super emotional at the best of times. I cannot help that but in the kind of world we live in, emotions and values have no place.

I wish I could be that other kind of person. I wish I could be hard and cold and emotionally detached and completely selfish and egotistical like all the other assholes out there who manage to succeed.

I need to learn to suck it up, do what I am told with a smile on my face, lose my individuality and then perhaps I will cut it out there in the real world.
