Amber is not doing so well…

Amber has not been well of late… No energy… Slightly lame… and then the other day I find her lying down in her stable.
I told the stable owner who gave her some shots and then decided not to ride her for a while.

Think it might be close to a month…

In the mean time Bernie said I can ride a chestnut gelding by the name of Oros so at least I have something to ride – even though he has some bad habits LOL

The vet had a look at her last week and put her on Bute and some immune boosters. She also got dewormed.
I got a nice present in my inbox for all of the above plus a trim from the farrier…

Bernie (the stable owner) said she hasn’t actually been well since I moved her to Banbury. That was over 4 months ago…

I am  pretty despondent.

I don’t think I can do this anymore.

It is more expensive than I can manage and I think its time for me to rethink this situation.
